Scientist names new species of fish to honor late UCLA student
A new species of fish, the Southern Tidewater Goby, was named officially after a UCLA postdoctoral student who died suddenly. Kristina Louie was dedicated to the study of the fish and other species that live in eelgrass beds. Photo: Brenton Spies
