Career Day at SaMo High School
I had the great privelage to participate in Career Day at Santa Monica High School on Tuesday, speaking to a group of 30-40 students interested in exploring careers focused on environmental and biological science. Such a great group of students who asked some excellent questions!
This event had approximately 160 professionals from backgrounds such as the arts, science, education, criminal justice, entertainment, and communication participated in panels held throughout the day. One of the main reasons this event was so successful was due to the partnership between City of Santa Monica, Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District/Samohi, Samohi Alumni Association, Regional Occupational Program, and student-run Ambassador Club
