News Articles on the Tidewater Goby Exhibit at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium
The new tidewater goby exhibit at Heal the Bay's Santa Monica Pier Aquarium is getting a lot of recognition in various news articles this week.
Earlier this year the Aquarium opened up a new watershed exhibit that helps visitors make the connection between the natural environment and how their own everyday habits impact the health and ecology of local watershed. One of the live exhibits depicts life in an estuary of the Santa Monica Mountain Watershed, and I was fortunate enough to work with the aquarium to exhibit the endangered tidewater goby so they can educate the general public on its ecological importance within the watershed.
Check out the links below to read about the new exhibit and the importance of this endnagered species to California's coastal wetlands.
